Truth is, you don't need do go out to have the best Valentine's Day, actually, the best ones are celebrated at home. Here are some ideas:

  1. Fondue night

  2. Candle lit dinner, that you can cook together

  3. Movie night: 50 shades of Grey,

  4. Couple's massage. Get those candles lit and the massage oils ready for a steamy night.

  5. Cheese and wine night

Bottom line is, it doesn't really matter what you do, if it's fancy or not, what's important is to make a little effort to spend time together and celebrate love!

It's Black Friday and if you're not the regular crazy shopper or if you already have all your shopping up to date, maybe it's the perfect time to just stay in. Grab your popcorn, wine, cheese and pizza and get ready to step up your movie night. It's been raining/snowing a lot and nothing puts me in a better mood to binge watch movies and stuff my face with food than a good rainy/snowy day.

Here are some movies I've been watching lately that are available on Netflix:

1. Black Panther

If you haven't watched it yet, are you sure you're living on this planet? And even if you're not really a super hero movie type of person, it's worth watching it for the . "I totally regret seeing Michael N. Jordan shirtless in Black Panther" - Said NO ONE EVER!

2. Collateral Beauty

This beautiful movie starring Will Smith is a drama that definitely sparked my curiosity and left me wanting to dwell and think about the important things in life, the way that we are living it, and how we should really live it. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. It's also perfect for Christmas time because it's kind of a new take on "A Christmas Carol", where a sad man is visited by three ghosts who pester him into pretending to be happy in order to make the people around him feel more comfortable. Anyways you should watch it!

3. The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society

This is a romantic movie

4. The Haunting of Hill House

It's a 10-episode mini series that flashes between past and present, telling you the story of a broken family that is forced to confront haunting memories of their old home and the terrifying events that drove them from it.

It took me a couple of days to finish watching it and let me tell you this much, those were sleepless couple of days.

Oh, sweet valentine! February 14th sis always a special date for us. Because of Caleb's work, not always we get to be together on this date, but we always celebrate it. Dining out is always an easy option but as the hopeless romantic that I am, I really love taking time to create something really special for us. This year we did a fondue night. I used this cheese fondue recipe I found on Pinterest and this chocolate one. Got some bubbly and enjoyed ourselves. The most important thing is to just be together and celebrate love. <3
