We finally Baptized Ollie and of course we would celebrate it! I wanted to make a Brunch and I had a super clear vision on the colors and what I wanted to do. I made a list of what I would need to buy and started preparing everything in advance.

The plan was: Food:

  • Tomato, cheese in a skewer

  • Cocktail shrimp 🍤

  • Charcuterie

  • Veggies and Dip

  • Cupcakes 🧁

  • Brie Cheese

  • Mini sandwiches 🥪

  • Granbanzo Beans Salad

  • Fruit Salad

  • Mini quiche

  • Chicken and waffle 🧇 🍗

  • Bagel Bar

Drinks

  • Mimosa bar

  • Berries, orange 🍊, mint etc to garnish

  • Orange juice and cranberry juice

  • Champagne 🍾

  • Popsicles

Got the Flowers and drinks at Trader Joe's and I was so excited that I found exactly what I was looking for.

The day before:

I set up the table which helps me visualize where everything goes and I made the flower arrangements.

The next day, all I had to do was Place the food and enjoy!

How stunning is this flower arrangement???

Two years ago we were in Toronto and decided to stay at home for Christmas. Just to brake from the traditional pancakes on Christmas morning, we decided to make this Bagel Brunch board instead.

What we used:

  1. Assorted bagels

  2. Smoked Salmon

  3. Eggs

  4. Avocado

  5. Red Onions (pickled ones are also delicious)

  6. Cream cheese and Hummus

You can always get creative and add other things as well like fruits. We served with coffee and Mimosas, of course.

It was fun and delicious, just make sure your crowd is all for it.

You can always stay more traditional with the pancakes, but a fun thing to add is a Yogurt/granola bar. Here I used my HOMEMADE GRANOLA recipe with yogurt, honey, berries and nuts.

I already know that, comes this time of the year, the one thing Theo asks me the most is: "Mommy, can we make Santa pancakes?". I mean the kid is obsessed!

Make these super easy Vanilla pancakes for your little one, I promise you will never go back to store bought ones.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup of whole Milk (can be substituted by almond milk as well)

- 1 cup of flour

- 1tbsp Vanilla Extract

- 1 tbsp melted butter

- 1 egg

- 1 tbsp Baking Powder

Add all ingredients to blender and blend for 2 min. Add baking powder last and start making the pancakes. It's that easy! Top it with your favourite toppings and get creative.
